Among the many masterpieces of the Portuguese capital, one specific piece instantly caught our attention and stole our hearts: a beautifully executed paste-up captured in our archive file. The visual paradox of this discovery was finding a powerful, deeply Mediterranean artistic voice in the middle of an Atlantic city, crafted by the talented Italian artist Ale Tassone.

Born Alessandra Tassone, the artist originates from Siderno, a town situated on Calabria’s scenic Ionian coast. Her artistic journey is a fascinating map of academic and geographical evolution: her solid academic background began at a local art high school and expanded through the Academies of Fine Arts in Reggio Calabria, Milan, and Seville. She ultimately graduated with a specialization in Decoration from the prestigious Brera Academy in Milan. This profound education in decoration shines through her urban interventions, where she brilliantly bridges the gap between academic compositional rigor and the raw, expressive freedom required by public street walls.
